Dry Needling

Dry Needling involves the insertion of a thin, sterile acupuncture needle into an area of Soft Tissue, with the aim of restoring more efficient muscle activity.

The favourable effects of Dry Needling are due to Biochemical and  Neurological changes which result in Inhibition of an over-active muscle or Facilitation of an under-active muscle.

Dry needling is useful for the relief of pain and tightness secondary to excessive muscle tension, and restoring more optimal muscle activity to help correct movement dysfunctions.
